Theresa May has made a quick reshuffle, filling the spaces left by Davis, Boris, and a couple of unnamed extras.
The most high profile move is that Hunt’s six year imprisonment at the Department of Health has finally come to and end – after earning himself the place of longest serving Health Secretary, and celebrating 70 years of the NHS.
He replaces Boris as Foreign Secretary, a likely reward from May as one of her close allies and a safe pair of hands to give an important job to.
Hunt is a tough cookie. Many dislike him, but that’s because he is willing to do difficult things. That sounds like a good thing to have in a Foreign Secretary.
